In case you’re like me and missed this earlier in the week, former Cal star – DeSean Jackson – did a great thing on Thursday. Nadin Khoury, 13, was invited to the show because on January 11, 2011 – for no reason – seven teenagers attacked and kidnapped him, hung him from a fence post, then upside down from a tree, filmed the ordeal and eventually posted the video to YouTube. The video below is pretty self-explanatory, but be warned, you may want to grab some tissues before hitting play.

After the segment aired, Jackson and his teammates’ Twitter pages exploded with shout outs, to which the guy often referred to as “MeSean” by his Cal teammates tweeted back, “Nadin is the real deal. He’s doin’ his best.”

Great, great stuff from a guy that now has reason to be selfish on the field and even more reason to keep doing inspiring stuff like this off of it.
